Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Contest

Participation Conditions:

Participation in the contest organized by Proturity GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the "Operator" or "Organizer," is free of charge and is exclusively governed by these terms and conditions.

Contest Duration:

The contest runs from September 10, 2024, at 8:00 AM until September 11, 2024, at 5:30 PM. During this period, users have the opportunity to participate in the contest online.

Participation:

To participate in the contest, it is necessary to complete and submit the displayed entry form. Participation is only possible within the specified participation period. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered in the draw. Only one entry per participant is allowed in the contest. It is strictly prohibited to use multiple email addresses to increase the chances of winning. Participation in the contest is free of charge.

Eligibility:

Eligible to participate are natural persons who have reached the age of 18. Participation is not limited to customers of the Organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of a product or service. If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required. All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the contest, employees of the Operator, and their family members are excluded from participation. The Operator reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation at its discretion if there are justified reasons, for example: (a) in the case of manipulations related to access to or conduct of the contest, (b) in the event of violations of these terms and conditions, (c) in the case of unfair behavior, or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the contest.

Consent to Use Personal Data:

By participating in this contest, I agree that my personal data (name, email address, telephone number, etc.) may be used for the execution and processing of the contest. I have been informed that I can revoke this consent at any time without giving reasons, with effect for the future. The revocation can be sent by email to contact@proturity.com.

Notification of Winners and Prize Delivery:

The following prizes will be awarded:

Prize 1: Amazon Echo Show 8 (10.09.2024)
Prize 2: Amazon Echo Show 8 (11.09.2024)

The winners will be determined after the participation period through a random draw among all participants. If the contest is linked to a task, only those participants who have correctly completed the task will be entered into the draw. The winners of the draw will be notified promptly by a separate email. The prize will be handed over exclusively to the winner at the event location at the Proturity GmbH booth. An exchange or cash payment of the prize is not possible. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize. If the winner does not appear at the live draw at the booth on September 10, 2024, and September 11, 2024, at 5:30 PM, the prize may be transferred to another participant.

Termination of the Contest:

The Organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the contest without prior notice and without stating reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the planned course of the contest.

Data Protection:

To participate in the contest, the provision of personal data is necessary. The participant assures that the information provided, in particular, first name, last name, company, and email address, is truthful and correct. The Organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will not be passed on to third parties or made available to third parties for use without consent. In the event of winning, the winner agrees to the publication of their name, company, and place of residence, as well as a photo of the prize handover, in the advertising media used by the Organizer. This includes the announcement of the winner on the Operator's website and its social media platforms. The participant can revoke their consent at any time in writing to contact@proturity.com. After revocation of consent, the collected and stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately. Within the framework of this contest, personal data of the participants will be collected and processed. This data includes the name, email address, company, and possibly other contact details required for the execution and processing of the contest. The data is collected and processed for the purpose of determining and notifying the winners. In addition, the collected data may be used for further contact. The data will only be stored as long as necessary for the execution of the contest and the subsequent contact. The Organizer assures that the data will not be used for any other purpose unless explicitly agreed upon by the participant. Participants have the right to request information about their stored personal data at any time, demand its correction or deletion, and object to the processing of their data. By participating in the contest, participants agree to the processing of their data in accordance with this notice. This notice fulfills the information obligations pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Applicable Law:

Questions or complaints in connection with the contest should be addressed to the Operator. Contact details can be found in the imprint section of the website. The contest of the Operator is exclusively subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The legal process is excluded.

Severability Clause:

Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible regulation that comes closest to the economic sense and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies in the event of a regulatory gap in these terms and conditions.
